Areas of application for osteopathy
The applications of osteopathy are very diverse. The aim of the treatment is to support the body's self-healing mechanisms. Therefore, osteopathy is used in various functional areas.

Joint and back pain
Complaints following accidents and injuries
Functional digestive disorders
Pelvic and menstrual problems
Headaches and temporomandibular joint disorders (TMD)
Sinusitis
Fatigue and exhaustion
Complaints related to the immune system
Osteopathy is also successfully used on infants, children, and pregnant women. Treatment is always tailored to the age and situation of the individual.
Treatment duration & procedure
An osteopathic treatment session typically lasts between 20 and 60 minutes.
-
Acute symptoms are usually treated one to three times at short intervals.
-
Chronic conditions often require treatment over a longer period with longer intervals.
The individual reaction of the body always determines the further course of action.
Interdisciplinary collaboration
Close collaboration with other medical and therapeutic disciplines is expressly welcome and an important part of our holistic treatment concept.
Legal notice
For legal reasons, we would like to point out that the application areas mentioned as examples do not constitute a promise of healing or a guarantee of relief or improvement of specific medical conditions.
For the area of the spine – for example in the case of chronic pain syndrome – the German Medical Association generally assumes that osteopathic treatments are effective.
